2009 is coming up fast and as with the previous article about 2009 Interior Trends predictions this article will go into more detail about the Oriental Sweetness theme in an effort to help you choose the right interior and canvas art for 2009.
Colours
As you may expect from the title Oriental Sweetness takes its influence from the far East. Simple clean shapes are offset by striking colours from the red and purple spectrum.
However to contrast the strong Burgundy’s and purples mix with more natural colours such as off whites and creams. Use these natural colours as your base and work the vibrant colours into focal walls and textiles. Be bold and be daring and Oriental Sweetness will reward you with a warm and relaxing space with plenty of longevity.
